Title: Time to turn on your VPN (again!)
Post by: philrose on February 28, 2020, 06:11:54 AM
All social media been banned or at least seriously throttled in Turkey according to various news sources. This is apparently in response to 33 Turkish soldiers being killed in Syria.

33 soldiers, that's so sad.
The best vpn I found was cyber ghost, it was recommended to me by a provider. That was a couple of years ago, and things change.

The Turkish soldiers were killed by aircraft in an attack by either the Russian or Syrian Air Force. The Russians are blaming Turkey for the deaths because they didn't inform them of their troop positions.

Turkey threatened to respond to 'all' of their ground positions.

"Turkish forces destroyed five Syrian regime choppers, 23 tanks, 10 armored vehicles, 23 howitzers, five ammunition trucks, a SA-17, a SA-22 air defense system as well as three ammunition depots," According to Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar.
