Birds Without Wings by Louis de Bernieres - I know this is a long shot but a Turkish man was asking today at the Calis Car boot sale for a copy of this book in English.  I said I would do my best to find a copy.  He can only afford 5 tl.  If any one has a copy of the book who is willing to sell it please PM me.

Really good book, but, I stuck my copy in Kosem restaurant in Fethiye. Don't know if they still have it, as that was a couple of years ago

Fiona I have e-mailed you to make an arrangement.  Thanks everybody for your replies.  I have the guy's phone number and will give him a call.  I don't know why I'm doing it really but he was really keen to read it and I'm all for that.  I explained it would be in English and he was happy and said it would help to improve his English by reading it.
