I was on my way to the hairdressers this morning to get my natural dark brown locks enhanced ( hmmm) when I took a phone call from my sis, just arriving back from Calis. Anyway, I stopped to take the call in a side alley by some bins! Whilst I was talking I noticed a handbag, carelessly dumped on one of the bins. Being a person able to spot a designer bag at 200yds- I realised it was too good a bag to have been thrown away! I realised on closer inspection there was an umbrella and purse close by.
of course some poor woman had been the victim of a bag snatch! So I rummaged( didn't like to do that but needs must) through the bag for some Id- found a name and address on a prescription, rang 118118 and rang her. Of course she was thrilled as I would ve been, but the coincidence is I worked with her a couple of years ago! Both bag and lady are reunited now( she was more worried about the door keys which were still there than the £30 which wasn't!)
In a city the size of Leeds- what are the chances??
