A Marmite jar might be a good replacement. Before he left there were several comments saying the forum would be better without his comments and while he was away the comments were asking when he would be back because his comments were missed. Just a comment

Well my coment is that I found some of his responses very humourous but never helpful or informative. So it just depends what you want from the forum.

Crabbit was a member of the CBF for three years before I joined and I have not read all the posts he made before I joined.

Others will be able to comment more informatively, but I would be very surprised if a large number of his 10,550 posts weren't either helpful or informative or indeed both.

I fondly remember nights in the chatroom when Crabbit was in. My goodness you needed to be "quick" to keep up. There was another fellow in there who was equally "quick" but I cannot remember his name
