I drove to Mancland airport at 6am and encountered 3 accidents and a total of 7 cars that had spun off the road BEFORE we got from York to Tadcaster!
Then on the M1 there was a massive tailback due to a big smash near Garforth - so we went A1m down to the M62 and again more accidents and one police car doing 40mph and stopping anyone from passing - a sort of 'safety car'
The M62 was mega slow and foggy and it wasn't until we got passed Saddleworth and down into Manchester that things improved.
Normally 1.5 hours but took us almost 2.5 hours yesterday!
