Blimey Steve, council buildings all dressed up, flags and hats handed out to schoolkids, Boy Scouts marching along - S.Shield must have looked like a St G flag tsunami.

Spent it at a brbq in a bar decked out with St Georges flags.In Murcia   :)

I only realised it was St. Georges day walking through Chester city centre, it looked like one of the primary schools had organised a re-enactment of the story with some performers, looked like they were enjoying themselves.

It really does seem that it's not as noticeable as I've gotten older, remember trips to nice gardens to watch plays and get the face painted etc. Though as a uni student I struggle to remember most days of the week anyway  :D
