AutoQuiz
« on: November 07, 2013, 14:32:50 PM »
Highlander has suggested that the lacuna that is CBF in November be filled by a quiz. I could hear the collective groan from here. But here is one that doesn't rely on H setting the questions and marking the answers. It comes from the BBC who also mark it. It is about how much we know about the world in which we live and our anticipation of where it is going. It is called "The Ignorance Test" and I did very well in proving myself deeply ignorant - 4 out 9. I didn't like being characterized as a "chimp" for my level of knowledge. Perhaps you can become a "great ape"? Perhaps later we can discuss (in Debating Chamber) the conclusions of the research on which the quiz is based (and allow JT to rail against the iniquities of statistics).

Scroll down to the quiz. If you go further you'll find the answers and spoil the quiz for yourself. Good luck. Let us know how you get on.

I had one, even though I'm not a fan of Renault cars.

Glad to help promote your exploration of the English language, KKOB. I'm sure you will be able to weasel it into some conversations over the next few weeks. Perhaps in relation to the nightlife of Wrexham?
