And the good news is that it is just as good as it was in the 1980s.

I have two daughters born in 1978 and 1981 for whom Danger Mouse was vital part of their childhood - both the TV series and the picture books it generated for bedtime reading. The secret of Danger Mouse was that it was just as much fun for the parent as it was for the child. It was, and is, an animated cartoon voiced by talented performers. In the original Danger Mouse was voiced by David Jason - his greatest role; today it is Alexander Armstrong (with Stephen Fry as Colonel K). At its peak, one episode achieved 23 million viewers. Not bad for a children's cartoon. Great to see it back. I now have a three and a half year old granddaughter and think the fun might be starting again.

He's the greatest. He's fantastic. Wherever there's danger he'll be there.

Colwyn, my daughters born the same years as yours, 1978 and 1981!  Danger mouse was an integral part of their childhood, enjoyed by parents and children alike.  We now have 3 grandsons, the eldest of them being a whole 4 today!  ☺
Just have to wean them away from CBEEBIES (you can only take so much Mr Tumble )
