Samuel Johnson's Dictionary Circa 1755
« on: September 18, 2009, 08:25:32 AM »
Just read an article about words published in his Dictionary which had gone out of use and came across this one:
Karistocracy....A form of government whose rulers are the least competant, least qualified, and the most unprincipled of all citizens.
250 years or so later does this remind you of any government you know?

How about this one"A diver, one who searches underwater" I am sure you scuba people will like this one....

A URINATOR:D
