Changing Money..
« on: April 26, 2016, 16:54:57 PM »
I know the usual response is change a little and get a better rate in resort. However, will I be better off changing it here? The rate seems to be falling.. I'm not going until June, or shall I wait..Any suggestions please?

I can tell you with absolute certainty ... that I have no idea. And nor does anyone else on CBF. Could you give us a hint? What will Erdogan do next?

Ups good KK,than you. Thanks Colwyn,Whilst I agree that it was somewhat of a shot  in the dark,I was relying on the people `who know` what effect political situations may or may not have on the rise or fall of the Lira. If we stay in Europe for example.

Well, you are going in June and the EU vote isn't until the 23rd so it will only have a late impact - if any. I could tell you that a vote for IN would show that the UK won't commit economic suicide so it would be great for the pound and you'll get lots more Lira. But there are a dozen OUTists who would come rushing in to shout "Nonsence!" and claim it would be the best thing Britain could do (poor deluded souls).
