I'd agree with others that it's a case of being prepared - and after this time, you now know what to expect.

Even though it was so warm when I was over last month, our house in Kaya was still positively chilly in the afternoon so if I'm not careful I'll be shivering along with you.
I'll be stockpiling blankets and maybe getting my own Alf.   ;)

If it comes to it, chick, we'll have to go out and find a nice cosy bar to sit in all day!

To hell with that Savoyboy, I live on 1st floor, and as Stoop pointed out places are not build here to UK standards, so I would heating downstairs ceiling too.   ;)   :)   :)

Bernie, if I had your options, I'd jump at the chance of coming back to the UK for  short while and earning some money. For me, it would be having the best of both worlds.  :).
