Title: Rental Cars from Dalaman
Post by: KKOB on May 09, 2013, 15:42:57 PM
Just a point that's worth remembering when collecting a rental car at Dalaman.

We arranged for Fethiye Lovers to deliver a car to us at Dalaman on arrival on 2nd May.

On collecting the car I asked the driver where the parking ticket was for exit from the car park assuming that there would be a special pass for a rental vehicle. However, upon exiting the carpark I had to pay a 9TL fee.

It's no big deal as far as I'm concerned, but it's worth bearing in mind if you are collecting a rental car from there in future.

Get in touch with Arthur and tell him.  Perhaps he does not know about this??
We always use Fethiye Lovers and found them very helpful and totally professional.
My daughter is over there just now and was impressed with there hire car and said the toddler seat was excellent... Don't worry KKOB.. I know you don't need a toddler seat..

Just as bad there are usually only fumes in the tank, to give Fethiye Lovers their due I was presented with a car at Dalaman last year and within a few hundred yards it was pretty obvious that the rear wheel bearings were about to climb out they took it away after I pointed it out, replaced both sides and refunded me the fifty lira I spent on diesel at Dalaman, rule one don't hire a dodgy motor to a mechanic!
