A new electronics shop called "Electro World" opened in Fethiye. ( www.electroworld.com.tr ). I plan to visit the shop today. It is on the main street to Fethiye center between the traffic lights at the tuesday market and the next crossing towards the center on the left hand side. Roughly somewhere where some schools and the road to the museum are.

Yes Libra, it is an excellent shop, great variety of everything, they have stand ice fans, with a section for the water, section for mozzy tabs, instead of having to use the plug in ones, they come with a remote so you dont even have to get up to work them, selling for 140 lira, very stylish too. :)

Yes they have some good stuff! It's part of the Currys/PC World group...
-
Des - please pardon my ignorance but what's a "stand ice fan"?
-
I was wondering that - and why would a fan have a section for mozzy tabs?!! The contraption I have pictured in my head would struggle to get to market to be honest :D
-
Sorry, should have said floor stand fan, cant answer whats pictured in your mind Keith. ;)
-
Best not to even try Des :D

I've seen that fan about an hour ago - yes somewhere where the switches are I have read "mosquito" .
The shop as a whole is good. Nice variety of goods on the shelves.
A good alternative to Teknosa and Bimeks.

Do they sell IT Comms kit, such as routers, access points or consumables like ethernet cables. Be good if they do, as I will then avoid having to trawl the town to find an outlet that does, and it's getting a little too warm for that sort of activity ;)

Yes , I remember having seen various cables , modems , routers , external HDD and many many USB flash drives.

Yes its a great shop we bought a new telly there a week or so ago. It as everything that Currys as at home and you can see all the tellys working at once. Avoid school dinner time though its like a magnet for the kids. But I admit although they were many of them they were very respectful and well behaved.
