I agree with Jack, I also think we should have an English manager!
-
No definitely not.
We wouldn't want the football team to end up like your cricket team :)
Didn't George Best live in England for 5 years.
-
So where do you draw the line, did you cheer Mo Farah home at the Olympics?

You've got one.....Roy.

"We have to remember what we are. We are English. We tackle hard, are tough on the pitch and
are hard to beat always lose international competitions".
-
Hard to watch

His father was born in England.
-
Sorry I didn't know that!
For the record I did cheer him home as a Brit!
-
Who is Adnan??
-
Q: Should Adnan be allowed to play for England?
A: No, of course not.
-
Man utd's new wonderkid, eligible to play for us,Belgium,Albania/Kosovo and Serbia but not sure where the Turkish connection comes in to the mix apart from his Turkish name.
Pesonally i would like English born sportsman to play for England.
-
I think he has a Turkish grandparent. It's absolutely ridiculous, firstly someone scores two goals and suddenly we want him for England and secondly this will make the international football scene like the club scene with players being chased by a number of countries.
Oh, and I could play for Turkey as I lived there for 5 years :)
-
No, I don't think he should play for England. I also agree with Tinx that England should have an English Manager.
-
Shouldnt he establish himself at Man U before its even discussed ?
-
Think he has done that already, the saviour last week and the best of a dodgy bunch of players this season.
-
A hint of FA desperation perhaps.
