Title: Steps to get residency without outside help

Can somebody give the detailed steps to get a residency in Fethiye without outside help with:

a)  A list of documents needed.

b) A list of necessary steps to follow (kaymakanlik which floor, which office; maliye, floor...)

c) An estimate of the fees to be paid and where.

There was such a list in Fethiyetimes some years ago but it has never been updated for the new residency.

I think such a contribution could help a lot !

With a cost of only about 100TL for someone to spend a day doing it all for you, why would you want all the hassle of doing it yourself?  ???

I am with you Hamlet.  We have always used Yakup at Hippy Chic for any anything we needed that required officialdom and/or translation.
Kraken if you want to learn the drill, you could always go along, listen and make notes for next time. It would seem a good way to learn for the first time you do it.

Go staright for the 'Deep End' Kraken.

I did it a couple of times. Provided you have patience and are prepared for a bit of a runaround, it's a good experience.

Is the new one virtually the same run around c..p as the old one 10 years ago i did my first. last one 4 years ago is it now easier??
Oh bye the way the 1 year in etween i went to Mais cause at the time it was cheaper my last 4 years residency  cost about 500 tl
