There was a surprise visitor at the 3Cs charity shop today, Mick in Black, who popped in bearing a carrier bag of lovely chocolate goodies which he donated for the charity's raffles. Thank you so much Mick, you have always generously supported the local charities and we really appreciate your help. :)

Yes Pete and I both retired from the charity last September after 8 years but we still do the odd shift in the shop as a volunteer when we are around. I am really sorry I missed you as I was working in the back room at the time of your visit or I would have come out into the shop to say hello.

The world would be a better place if there were more people like Mick. Every time he visits which is quite a few times a year he always brings something for all the charities, and he also always remembers his friends too...
