How to register your mobile online

Only if you have a Turkcell sim card.

1, Send this message to 2222, sifre
2, you will receive a password (6 numbers)
3, go to http://www.turkcell.com.tr
4, click on "English
5, click on "online services center" (top left, not the box on the right) (if you have a popup blocker, disable it).
6, put in your phone number & the password that was sent to you, it will ask you to change your password. Do so, then log in.
7, close window.
8, repeat step 5 (using your new password.
9, click on "line services"
10, click on "Unregistered Handset Inquiry"
11, Enter your IMEI number. (To learn your IMEI number please press *#06# on your phone)
12, click on "approve"


Your phone will now be registered.

Thanks for that info Crabbit
This will only work surely if you are in Turkey. If you are back home in sunny England and you have not got a signal for turkcell on your phone, so therefore can't send the message to turkcell to get your superpassword then how can you register your phone for when you arrive at Dalaman airport at some ungodly hour in the morning to find your transfer car is not waiting for you. You can't use your phone that you have used countless times before to phone the company to ask where the driver is because your phone has been locked.
Incidentally, this has happened to me on a visit to Calis, we arrived at Dalaman to find that there was no driver. Fortunately this was before all the phones were being locked and I was able to contact the company concerned and they sent a driver for me (slight breakdown of communication at time of booking the transfer, but that was partially my fault)
Is there a way of contacting turkcell from the Uk that you know of so that people like myself can register before we arrive in Turkey.
Any info would be most welcome for all us poor so*s that don't live in Turkey.

Hi crabbit or any of the mods looking in.
i have just tried to make a donation to Starfish and when you press "make a donation" button it comes up with a message saying "error detected,  This recipient is currently unable to receive money"
Am I doing something wrong?

When in Turkey in May we bought a Turkcel sim from the Turkcel shop and they filled a form in & took our IMEI no from the phone & photocopy of our passport. I thought this was a lot of agro for a sim card but does this mean our mobile should be registered?

Gave this a go but had the following message
You are required to register the ************* IMEI numbered handset with its invoice attached at the nearest Turkcell point. You may continue using your Turkcell account.

Any ideas?
