2 Day Culture/Shopping Tour

Izmir-Kusadasi
20th-21st February 2008

Day 1

9.00am Leaving fethiye.
Stopping for a break in Gökova.
A tour of meyrem.
A tour of Sirince and Selçuk visiting The Virgin Marys house.
Having lunch in Sirince/Selçuk.

Stopping overnight in a 4 star hotel in Kusadasi-evening meal is included.
 

Day 2

Breakfast at hotel-included in price.
9.00am leave hotel for Izmir
Spending the day in Izmir
04.30pm Leave Izmir for Fethiye
Stopping for breaks on the way

10.00pm arriving back in Fethiye.

Only £60 per person

Price includes:
A Representative to accompany the tour.
Full Insurance
1 night half board in a 4 star Kusadasi Hotel
Entrance fee to the Virgin Marys House
Coach Transportation for 2 days.

Just thought I should let pmembers know that Mrs H thought there was "something about" the Virgin Mary's House and would recommend a visit.

The fruit wines from Sirince are excellent
especially the Mullbery, blueberry
strawberry, peach, nectarine, apple, cherry...

Can anyone help me please - my wife and I would be very interested in visiting the Virgin Marys house - is this in Sirince or Selçuk?   Also how far is this to drive (from çalis) and roughly how long would it take?

It is in (near) Selçuk. It takes roughly 4 hours to drive to from Çalis. We did it last year and stayed overnight in a pension in nearby Sirince (an ex greek village with stunning views). Would recommend this as it gives you time to have a look around Ephusus as well.

The dates have changed again it is now the 20th and 21st Wed/Thurs February and you have a choice in Izmir.  You can choose either a city sight seeing trip or a shopping trip.
It has got to be good value for £60 and the hotel in Kusadasi looks pretty good too.
