To anyone who did not go......Tough you missed a good couple of days!
Seriously it was most enjoyable, obviously on such a trip the company is important and we had some good fun. We did however cram an awful lot into two days....Selcuk, The Virgin Mary's House which was incredibly tranquil at this time of year, Sirince.... lots of wine tasting and looking remarkably like Kaya Koy but still very much alive. A good quality Hotel in Kusadasi for the night perhaps a little too much on the outskirts but fine for the one night. The two faces of Izmir... the modern and the older Konak area. The trip is being rerun again in early March for anyone who wants to give it a whirl. There is also a trip to Capadoccia but that is still very much in the planning stage.
