Local Uzumlu wine

Hi All, I've been told that you can buy locally produced wine in the Uzumlu area direct from the growers (bring you're own bottle job), is this correct ?, and if so can anyone please give some more information on how you go about it, costs etc.

Thanks Tony.

sorry that wasn't very helpful was it ?!  (but truthful).
Many of the locals make their own, and offer it for sale at the markets.  However you could always pop into the Wine House for a taster - they keep several under the counter !!!  Good luck  (you'll need it...... !!!)

Closer to "lung stripper" sadly. It is truly awful.

Maybe not a wine for "savourin', but layin' back and avoidin' !! (said in an Australian accent)

Give that a miss then, maybe still visit the Winehouse, is it any good ?

really lovely valleyboy - new team arrived last year and the place is now 'the' place !   Excellent food and the guys can't do enough to look after you.  A really nice atmosphere  (avoid the quiz nights as I hear it gets a bit raucous then .....!!!!)
