This is absolutely brilliant!!
When I come over in June, I will try and bring glasses.  Would dvd's be ok to bring over for you to sell? As they are light to pack.
I met hubblebubbles last October at the sale, I had run out of sun lotion. As  I was passing I bought some Ambre Solaire dry oil off the stall, it gave me the best tan I have ever had!!  :)

Oh Tracey I am going to have to come back to Calis just for your fish n chips.
The Eye project is awesome and it will make a real difference to the future of those children. Hopefully it will also bring the importance of eye health to the fore in the local schools. Well done all my friends at Embrace you are absolute stars - keep up the great work. Miss you all lots.

This is the first I have heard of this. what a fantastic effort. I am a member of another forum (Ex military) where we send donations to provide parcels for one of the Bomb disposal teams. We send the money through a pay pal account which has been set up on the forum. Just wondering if it is possible for Scunner to set up a similar arrangement? It could provide a mechanism for those on the forum who live in the UK but wish support the project and who would otherwise find it problamatic to do so (Baggage restrictions, etc). Just a thought! Keep up the tremendous work.

Steve, the Embrace charity comes under the umbrella of Calis Carnival and the Carnival Committee fully support this excellent project. Calis Carnival does have a paypal account accessible through the home page of our website www.caliscarnival.com.

If anyone in UK does want to contribute to the Embrace eye test project then they could always make a donation through our paypal account. but please make sure that you clearly mark your donation for the Embrace project so that it identifiable. We will then pass on any donations to Embrace.  Thanks.
