Changes in visa rules apply
« on: July 20, 2010, 20:46:59 PM »
Hi,

In the land of lights full explanation....new visa rules say that one can only stay in Turkey 90 days in a 180 day period.  I arrived back from England last Thursday and have the new visa in my passport, I now will get residency, tell your friends.

The full story is in the land of Lights. If I stayed for the full 90 days within the 180 day period then it means I have to stay out of the country for 3 months before I could return so now I have to buy residency.  According to the Land of Lights they have approached the Turkish Embassey in Ismir and asked why this was not announced etc, the British Embassy is awaiting confirmation by post from them.  I have the new Visa so I know its already in place and will take a lot of people by surprise. It was introduced on the 14th of July I returned on the 15th.

Correct my little pointed shoe. It is important that all the info, opinions and views are all in the one central place, this is why we are locking three new topics a day on the subject and directing everyone to the main topic, at {A Link to an old CBF topic was here - no longer available}36084&whichpage=1

I shall now "pull away", thanks for that.
