Is it possible to walk up to the firetower overlooking Uzumlu???

Have been told it is possible to start from somewhere along Cadianda road and follow the ridge.

Have done it a few times. Its difficult to explain as you can quite easily get lost but if you fancy walking up there I would happy to show you the route. In fact a couple of us are planning to walk up there this week.

Thanks for the offer Alan.

Yes would be interested in going up with you, but I am only moderately fit so if you are going up at a stroll pace fine but if you are going up at yomping speed would probably not keep up. Did do the stroll up to Cadianda from the village recently.

Just looked at forecast which is cold and wet until Wednesday and assume you would want a few days for the ground to dry out a bit.

I have heard about your adventurous walks and your walk this week to the tower (weather pending)
Would it be possible for 2 nuns with no dirty habits to join you and your friends.
Due to a lot of wet grass in this area, would you advice that we strap our bikes to our backs as we
never leave home without them?
I await your reply

Thanks again Allan. Looks like it will be quite an expedition.
How long do you think it take for the round trip?

Walking at a comfortable speed should take about 2 hours each way.
