1st day of Bayram - important closures
« on: August 21, 2011, 23:22:47 PM »
I just want to flag this up early as the first day of Bayram (Eid) is Tuesday 30th of August.

This means that the Tuesday market will probably only have a few if any stalls.

Banks, the Post Office (PTT) and other government buildings will be closed from the 30th for the rest of the week.

The Mozaik Bahce will be closed during the day so our staff can spend the day with their family. We will open at about 6-6.30pm.

The FIG shop will be closed Tuesday only - open the rest of the week.

Some other places shops etc may be closed for a few days too.

Imagine this happening in the UK. There would be uproar,as no one would get paid.and there wouldn't be any public sector services.Hardly bears thinking about. :)
