"Harmonization" of prices - Efes.

Firstly, has there been a meeting of  the Calis Turizm ve Tanitma Dernegi (Tourism and Hoteliers association) which includes Mete Ay recently (yesterday perhaps)?

Secondly, if this meeting took place, was one of the results that a number of Bars were visited by their representatives and the owners/managers and told to “harmonize” their beer prices (.e.increase them) ?

Or is the reason given by a number of bar owners for their simultaneous price increase merely a ruse to increase their profits, and nothing to do with the aforementioned organisations activities at all?

I would hate to think that the information I was given was an attempt to justify a price increase but was simply misleading (porky pies).

It is absolutely Gospel, Efes going up to 10 YTL everywhere, that green frog Kermit told
me got it right from the pigs mouth --- and lets not go any further with that one please gentlemen! 

Actually I have checked with World Rumour Control at the King Faisal Hospital Complex in Riyadh
and they knew nothing about it at all, but were able to tell me that Prince Charles is opening a bar in Dubai and Camilla is in charge of the Pole dancing! (i.e they have a polish guy in shorts who will be prancing around)!

Sigh, yup, every year the rumours begin!!

farmer - a genuine question for you. Instead of coming to CBF every year reporting your rumours of Mete Ay price fixing and setting up cartels (which to date have never happened) and asking members what they think about it (should it be true)...

...why don't you ask Mete your questions? It does seem like a tedious annual vendetta by you exclusively towards him exclusively. Mete has done more for Fethiye than almost anyone, certainly more than you have, as you have done nothing but rake up half truths and speculate on what might have been discussed and what might perhaps happen.
