Thanks for replies Linda and Anne we will defo bring the coats out in October makes sense to sell items that are seasonal. I have got two massive boxes of swimming badges (the type you sew on clothes) all brand new never been used I just could not throw them away,   will they be any use to the shop or the charity in any way do you think?if not you guys then could Animal Aid use them for anything?

What do the badges say on them Karen?  If there are a lot of them we can split them with AA that wouldnt be a problem.

I have got them here and looking through them there are various types a lot are Persil ones silver, bronze and gold awards, the other box is packed full of different types like a picture of a fish on and for example 25 metres, some say Endeavour and have another animal piccie on,it is a real shame the words are in English (I know they are English!). some have a picture of a fish and just a number and sta on.
I reckon there are between two and three hundred all brand new and still in the bags
