The 10 Lira is actually for parking a car and the use of 2 sun beds and an umbrella on the beach just after the entrance. Thats according to the gate guard on Saturday.

So if you walk in do you still have to pay? We often go for lunch and then just sit on a sunbed sometimes, but only for about an hour.

Oludenize did this years ago to the lagoon area. There is aleast five private sections that you have to pay to go in.If sat look after the beach and keep it clean and tidy so be it.If the locals can not keep it tidy when the have been fishing or drinking there then its their loss.Every morning there is empty bottles, bags of rubbish ,old bait just left on the beach. As for the ten lira fee you get it back at the beach club also they do not charge everyone just ones they dont think should be  there.  :o

We walked along there today with the intention of having a nice lunch with those fabulous views. It was empty apart from 2 tables. Nobody came with menus or to take a drinks order for 10 minutes. We ordered Efes - 'sorry no large Efes, only Tuborg' at 10tl. We looked at the menu and almost fell off our chairs! Everything is approx double last years prices. (I think a hot steak sandwich was 29tl). Really taking the proverbial. Obviously they want us all to pay for the extra beach they have acquired. We left, but not before we told the waiter it was way too expensive. There were only a few people on the nearby beds and the other 300 yards of empty beds couldn't possibly have any waiter service (logistics!) and would have to go a long way to toilets. (or the sea!) There are signs all along the walk way saying 'No Fishing, and 'Please do not bring your own food or drink'. Though I don't know how they'd be able to keep check!  We decided to have a perfect lunch at Mosaik Bahce in Fethiye instead!

£10+ for a steak sandwich!

We went for the first time last year and to be honest I was not impressed at all. I guess the 19 (or was it 21) YTL G&T will be a tad more costly this year?
