Balkaya Hotel
« on: June 04, 2013, 18:21:53 PM »
On the 3rd page of this link is quoting about £500.00 a head from 21st August for 14 nights all inclusive but it says Calis is the location? I have never heard of it and just wondered is the location Calis ?

http://www.onthebeach.co.uk/hotel_searches/show/236943285

Also Anna apartments on 2ND page for about £350.00 b&b which seems a good deal for the time of year?

The Balkaya Hotel in Ovacik is awful - don't go there.
We got relocated there on arrival having booked the Morning Star 3 years ago.
Lowcostholidays hadn't told us about the change of hotel  >:(
Full of chavs drinking until 3am and all rooms within earshot of the bar.
Cleanliness and hygiene in general very very poor and an unmade 'track' back up to the main road.

Thanks, I clicked on the map after I posted and it comes up as oludeniz so sounds like the same place, having said that with all the doom and gloom about regarding flights etc to Turkey on the beach seem to have some really good deals!

Some relatives of ours booked their holiday with a hotel which said it was at Calis Beach, as there is actually one with a similar name in Calis, we asked them to check it and it turned out to be in Ovacik, so they got onto the travel company and changed their hotel. It seems there were quite a few hotels listed as Calis which weren't actually in Calis.
