Hi Carole. Noticed a retro shop in Eld Lane today. Also have you thought of your links with the Mercury Theatre maybe the props room? Also the Clacton Theatre has a charity shop in Holland. They may have a few ideas see you soon F & J xx

Thanks all for the ideas.

I got a dress and cardigan today, now need some red shoes and a bag.

Where is the charity shop in Holland Francis? That might have something

It's right in the centre Carole. Opposite Kings road I think, on the corner on the main road. Quite near the centre where the Roaring Donkey is. On the left as you go through to Frinton xx

I was in the Cancer Research shop today to value for them.  They have had an overwhelming amount of clothes handed in, quite a lot from deceased estates.  Out of interest, I had a look around, but there was nothing really old.  Saw a lovely raw silk jacket with beautiful embroidery it was made in India, I would say around 1950.  However, it is a small size, about a size ten.  I was just saying if this was in a high end vintage shop it would cost so much money.
Glad to say I identified a solid gold pair of earrings and quite a lot of silver jewellery.
