Thomas Cook cancelling Aberdeen flights to Turkey
« on: February 11, 2016, 21:52:09 PM »
Following on from my post about Thomas Cook cancelling a lot of their Turkish flights iv now just read they are cancelling all their flights from Aberdeen to Turkey this summer...several people have phoned them and had it confirmed...so if anyone has Aberdeen flights booked you may want to phone TC to get a flight from another airport before these ones sell out..apparantly you csn get a full refund if you dont want to fly from a different airport....

We've been looking at monarch flights from Leeds/Bradford in May.  Hope they are not going to start cancelling all over!

Blimey, state of panic to check our Monarch flights for June then - still showing as for sale but am getting a bit nervous  :(
My son and his family had a deadline of this Saturday to cancel their Egypt holiday with TC to avoid losing more than their £800 deposit- last week they were in the branch and TC were trying to sell them another holiday.  No mention of the fact that their flights had already been moved from Manchester to Gatwick!!!  Fortunately I had seen all the issues on here and they have managed to get their £800 back today.  How underhand are TC?  Un-bloody-believable.  I am so sorry for those who have lost their holidays - may be us if Monarch start messing too.

Just checked our Mon flights from Leeds and they are still on sale (16/05).

What will be will be I guess. No point in worrying at this stage. If the worst comes to the worst Scotland isn't bad in May  :)
