Sorry, but I really can't see the point in this kind of thing. There must have been huge costs involved in training for it, equipment and for a back-up team to support them. For what ?

        Maybe they want to send a single digit gesture to those who suggest that women are ill equipped to serve in

        front line positions in war zones ect. The funding is always is always found for men's expeditions so well done them.

        A fantastic achievement, dragging 12stone sleds through severe conditions.  Makes yer proud to be British. !!!!     :)
