Off topic, I know, but...... a friend has just returned from a holiday village in Holland. His holiday bungalow caught fire because of an electrical fault. Not so unusual, but, none of the bungalows had or were required to have smoke/fire alarms. Why not? Are we the only ones to be slaves to EU rules?  How lucky they were, they were playing cards and half the lights went off. My friend went to investigate and found the meter in the hall smoking, their only exit. Half an hour later, the children would have all be in bed and the adults in the sauna! My blood runs cold at the thought! So many of us used to berate the EU and it’s rules. It appears that we are one of the few that followed them, thank goodness!!!

Do property owners need regulations to fit safety equipment? Isn't the risk of your holiday chalet burning to the ground enough?!!

Not just newts.....bats, dormice, freshwater pearl mussels et al -  as well as certain plants and trees.

Loads of surveys on flora and fauna before a spade hits the soil. Many years work for some specialist surveyors.

All that before elf n safety are even considered.

You would have thought so, but it was a rented holiday bungalow and none on th3 site had or indeed needed to have fire alarms fitted. My point is that we have to and we are under the same laws!

So why is it called "Sky Walk" ?

I can imaginne Sky Ride, but to me a Sky Walk is one of those glass walkways over a precipitous drop like the one in Grand canyon or that recent bridge in China.

Maybe theres a treadmill in each car that droves the system  ;)

It looks like there are both pods and chairs.  Confused me to start with, but on closer inspection it looks like the pods go up to probably 1,700m and then the chairs go from 1,700m to 1,900m.  Is that the plan?

Does anyone know exactly where the base station is in Olu Deniz?
