Yet more breakins
« on: October 13, 2013, 12:57:10 PM »
2 more attempted burglaries last night in our Area. One on Archways yet again. This complex seems to be targeted often. The other near Telemessos. Only a lıttle damage done so Jandarma not called to either incident.

The police should have been called irrespective of the severity of each attempted crime.

I agree with Kenkay. no report means the police have no clue as to what happened. It also means they will not know where extra attention has to go.

Q, how did the burglars try to get in - did the properties have grills and alarms - were they occupied at the time - and what thwarted them?

Both had grills and bars and one had an alarm system. They used a crowbar to try and get in and were unable to as the one wıhout the alarm had ıron bars ınsıde preventıng them from openıng the doors and they were scared off by the alarm going off at the other one. Reported both incidents to FNHW for they're records.
