Both links seem to go to the same story.
It does indeed say they went to prison. But doesnt say how long for.
Sorry, links should have gone to two very different publications - firstly the Sabah, an intensely pious, pro Erdogan publication and BiaNet, an intensely anti Erdogan publication.
Her's the correct Sabah link:
http://www.sabah.com.tr/gundem/2016/07/21/62-kuleli-askeri-lise-ogrencisi-tutuklandiKuleli is not dissimilar to Welbeck College or the Military School at Harrogate in the UK - kids that go there are on a career path to become officers in the Turkish Military.
They have NOT all been released, although its likely that most will be. Poor little buggers were given guns with empty magazines to defend the college! They will fall into the same category as many of the army conscripts who took part who have already been released on the basis they were carrying out what they thought to be lawful orders (can't find the links, but this was reported in a couple of places).
