From the number of people using the Seashell most of the locals already know the place. For those like us part timers or just on their jollies the new not yet fully completed eatery is well worth a visit IMO. Sahli and his Family and Hasan and his family are very welcoming and we wish all involved success in the venture. The menu is a good mix of Brit and Turk fare, prices in all departments are very fair. Great to have somewhere very local for us we can take visitors and be happy with the food. Where? on the left coming from Fethiye past the Agean Restaurant and before the Eftelya Apart Otel. Us! We like to eat in lots of places prefering to turn left after coming down the road from the top side of Ovacik. The Very best Restaurant IMO is the one on our balcony!! :) ;) This is only a personal recommendation of the Seashell .

Not surprised Its a combination of the chefs flair and local ingredients and the view from the balcony not to forget the company of my wife!!

Totally agree, great restaurant, where else would you get a full english breakfast{only my son eats it} for 5 tl, and it,s big!!!!

Only went to the Turtle once, for Christmas dinner in 2010. Food and service were awful. Cold food and over 90 mins between courses. The trifle for desert consisted of jelly, runny custard and squirty cream. Wouldn't eat there again for free.

where is the seashell please, going to ovacik in september, and are there any others in the area that are really good, went to ovacik last year and loved it, cheers dag.

Sea shell is on the top road in Ovacik about half way along if i remember correctly

We have been 3 times to the Seashell now. It is absolutley packed on a Saturday evening. Best to book and he does a pick up service but only locally. The fish and chips are superb. Thick white fish and crispy batter. The service is brilliant and the staff are really nice. I saw lots of meals that looked really good so will try something else next time.

we went for breakfast , was great and only 5ytl dont know how he does it for the price , also tried fish and chips to take away , that was very good also , would definately recommend .

Weve been going to try the fish night for a while now,but it seemed too cheap to be any good, but will defineitly give it a try now after your recommendation.

had a good meal here last tuesday evening, wish i had known earlier about the fish buffet, oh well there's always next year ;)

Food and service has always been great when we have visited, but on our last visit the service was off the normal mark, we put it down to a blip, but it will not put us off of going again.
