Just been looking at flights - there seem to be some VERY cheap flights to Rhodes in high season.

I am now thinking of having a stop over in Rhodes and then getting Ferry across to Fethiye.

Any one ever tried this ?
Are there any "security issues" associated with the Ferry that mean I will have to send DNA sample two weeks before travelling ?

The wife and I did it a couple of years ago with no problem, we did get stopped for bag checks at fethiye but I don't blame as we had quite a lot of luggage
and all the other passengers were day trippers.

Provided you bring your Granny, who must be under 60 years of age, you won't have any problems.  ;)

We've done this several times - no problems at all & very enjoyable.
