Is there chance that the CIA's opening of renewed investigations of Hillary's email accounts will lose her enough votes to allow Donald Trump into the Presidency through the back door? That will put the minor UK stupidity of Brexit into perspective! We will have a worldwide calamity. If it happens, the following Cold War public advice may prove helpful:

FOLLOWING THE ELECTION
- Stay clear of all windows
- Keep hands free of glasses, bottles, cigarettes, etc.
- Stand away from bar, tables, orchestra equipment and furniture.
- Loosen necktie, unbutton coat and any other restrictive clothing.
- Remove glasses. empty pockets of all sharp objects such as pens, pencils, etc.
- Immediately upon seeing The Donald elected bend over and place your head firmly between you legs
- Then kiss your arse goodbye.

I have always thought that going to hell would be a very bad thing. The actual mode of transport that takes you there is surely of limited concern.

Frightening prospect. And while the USA are looking the other way Putin is reportedly
preparing to blast Aleppo apart with his newly arriving Navel Fleet on the assumption

Well, one thing has worked out OK. Hilary went off down town to visit her hair stylist this morning determined to have her hair cut in the style of the next US President.
That is to say, the fictional Claire Underwood, the prospective President in the US version of House of Cards. Now that really would have been scary. Fortunately Hilary's stylist is not the sort to allow customers clients to decide for themselves what style they want. So she came back with her usual cut. Since women keep banging on to me about how "glamorous" she always looks, I suppose that is fine. Fortunately, since she is concerned about my health, she doesn't tell me how much all this pampering costs; and I make damn sure I don't ask.
