Hi all

Names Dan , and am heading to calis for the first time on the 29th...

cant wait , have heard good things and am dying for our holiday..

can i have some advice please (sorry to be boring)

only one thing though im keen to not bother people endlessly on here

what should i take money wise ? travellers cheques , turkish cash , english cash ?

we are staying at the golden moon which by all accounts is a good pick

Hi LB Dan welcome to the forum. Take enough Lira to tide you over for a couple of days, and then change your English money later. You get a better rate in Turkey.Having said that the exchange rate is quite good here at the moment. Enjoy your stay.

hi and welcome to the CBF we always take about £30 to last us for the first day or so then change our english money there
the moon hotel as a good reputation,friends of ours go there every year they are out on the 10 for two weeks and they speak very highly of the moon

much appreciated  , so far we have done the egypt thing , the greek islands and cyprus but never decided on turkey till this year so cant wait to get there !
thanks for the money tips , i will do that , do you think changing english pounds OR travellers cheques ?
