My husband has a mobile which is given to him by his Company, he always takes it with him on holiday and business(including U.S.A.) everywhere. We have used it in Turkey many times. Will it now still work?
Jacqui.

Jacqui,
The only ones that are blocked are the ones with Turkish sim cards in them.
-
I have just returned after spending over 3 weeks in Calis. I have a Turkcell sim card in my phone. I bought the sim card in April and it hasn't been blocked yet. Maybe I have just been lucky
-

When my neice came over to Hisaronu a few weeks ago her english phone would not work. She could receive my texts but I could not phone her. She could not reply to my texts or phone me.
-
Linda - maybe it was your phone playing up again -lol
-
It's worth checking with your network to make sure you are able to send/receive texts/calls while abroad - there are often blocks on the account that you need to release. A UK mobile will work if it has a UK SIM in it.
