Title: Home insurance
Post by: lance on September 13, 2006, 11:51:16 AM: Does anyone know if i can insure my house in the u.k. so i dont have to waste a morning of my holiday next week .
i have been told that i cant not until they join the e.u.is this correct thanks.

Don't think that you can arrange this in the UK. All Aspects arranged ours for us and it didn't take long at all, for us anyway...

He was very helpful, speaks good English and even took us out to lunch! Also helped us buy a television set and secured good discount. The policy is written in English, and payment can be made by credit card in sterling, thereby saving on exchange fees. Please feel free to email us for further details.

Post by: AnneandTerry on October 05, 2006, 07:00:26 AM: Forgot to mention earlier - our Allianz man even went to our bank to cancel existing insurance cover and arranged for refund of premium to be repaid into our bank account. Our previous insurance was with Garanti, but Allianz gave us a better policy (new for old) and accepted previous policy when calculating 2 years' no claims discount.
