Hi, does anyone own a Altus washing machine, I have so many problems with this machine, if i put a fitted sheet and a beach towel in to wash it wont spin the washing is still full of water, also the programs take around 3/4 hours to wash, theres also a mini wash that takes around half hour but its a cold wash. if anyone knows how to work this machine please let me know because the instruction booklet is turkish:(

I think Altus are part of the same group as Arcelik.
Take a look at www.arcelik.com
They have a section where you can download insructions for appliances in English.
It's possible your model is on the list, or if not, a similar one.

Have a look through the manufacturers paperwork for an address and try e-mailing them, asking if they have a copy of the instructions for your particular machine in English. I've done this on a few occasions for various things with success .

this was happening to my machine and i called the engineer out who then fitted a attachment that filtered the water has there had been a build up of limescale and the machine as been ok since

:)Thanx puma i am coming to calis Friday 20th Oct. I am bringing some calogen tablets for limescale so i will try that. I have only used the machine about 8 times.
-
Calgon is brill for removing limescale but as Puma says you can have a permanent filter installed in your machine, it cost us about 60lira and then you don't have to worry about it again.
-
Where did you get the filter from Val?
-
To be honest Anne, we had a broken fan belt on the machine and Bekir sent the engineers to fix it. We didn't get charged for that but they advised us to have the filter which they fixed for us for nothing, as they showed us the invoice for 60 lira. If you went to Eren spot I'm sure that Bekir would be able to advise you, unless any other members have had one fitted seperately.

it's an in line attachment, goes on the end of the hose, cheap and easy to fit.
