Hi everyone. My name is Sue and I have been reading this site for the last couple of weeks. My husband Pete and I have been thinking of buying a property in Turkey and after reading all the great things you have been saying about Calis have decided to buy there. I think the area we can afford to buy in is called Zumrutkent so we would appreciate any info about this that other members can provide. We are hoping to come to Calis in May and be at the big party bash, can anyone recommend the best, ie cheapest airline to get out there? Thanks agian for all the good info you have been providing.Sue

Welcome to the site Sue and Pete and good luck with your purchase.  With regard to flights, I think it really depends on where you live.  I am in Milton Keynes and I normally fly from East Midlands or Gatwick with Excel Airways.  Excellent airline, big leather seats and good punctuality record.  Generally, flying from Gatwick should always be cheaper if you are in the south.

Thanks for the info.We live in Emsworth on the South Coast, about 10 miles from Portsmouth so Gatwick would be the airport for us.At the moment we are waiting for photos and info on properties so we can make our choice. Calis seems such a nice lpace we can't wait to get out there.

Hi Harley, I appreciate the flight search.I am also looking to see whether it might be better to come out on a package deal. A quick glance at teletext seems to offer some really good bargains. Thanks again, Sue.

Hi DaveM,
Thanks for that bit of info.We have managed to get a flight leaving at 0925 in the morning from Gatwick, arriving 1515 at Dalaman for £204.As this price icludes all taxes and credit card charges,I don't think it is too bad, particularly as the flight is a morning one and not leaving late at night.
