Hi, my name is Val. I'm new to the forum but not to Turkey. I have been living in the Fethiye area for 4 years now. I live on a gulet in summer and an apartment in winter. Our boat is currently up for sale and the ad can be viewed on items for sale area of the forum.

Hi Val - welcome to the forum - I am sure you will find lots of useful information here.
We have a small apartment in Fethiye - in a very Turkish area which we think is lovely - can't wait until we can spend 4 to 5 months there (only 3 years to go!!!)

Hi Val and welcome - what is it like living on a gulet? Must be wonderful just to roam the seas at will or are you using it for holidaymakers?

Life onboard is wonderful. You have lots of freedom and can get away from the crowds, find a nice deserted bay and just read and swim at your leisure. You get to meet lots of very interesting people who pass through the area on boats, who you wouldn't otherwise meet. Would recommend it to anyone.
