Has anyone come across a shop that sells pressure washers in Fethiye? They are available from Koc Tas but I have not seen them in a retail shop. :)
-
They've got them in Goksular Yapi Market ( B&Q ), and couple of other shops nearby. There's a Karcher agent with the full range behind the old hospital.
I've got a small pressure washer if someone wants to borrow it for a day or 2.

Thanks for that Alan....never actually seen them in B&Q but now I have discovered they are called Basincli su yikayicilari(what a mouthful) life should be easier:D :)
-
I'm pretty certain that there's a shop almost opposite B&Q that has Karchers in their window display.
-
They're also in the DIY shop near the Sunday market. They had loads of Karchers there end of last summer. They also had B & D strimmers so no need to take one out any more.
-
Thanks Lindacarl......will keep that info for plan B if I can't get one in Fethiye. :)
-
The Park yapi Diy near the sunday market are getting rid of their Karcher gear, if you haggle a bit you should get cost price.
-
Hi Smudge ...went in there today.... they wanted £160 for a smallish model about the size you would get for about £60 in the uk. B&Q did have a Black & Decker for 160YTL. Not K'archer but not £160 either!!! :)
-
just purchased new karcher over net in uk a lot more than £160, but the good thing is the patio cleaning brush works a treat, worth getting for turkey?. bad thing is wife thinks I over spent(nothing new there) so I have to wash the cars more often.
-
Would it be worth going back to the Sunday Market place & haggling like mad now Smudge has given you the info that they are getting rid of the Karcher stuff?
I've never haggled there - just paid the prices. It's never once crossed my mind to haggle with them.
Do you lot all haggle with them?
-
I'll haggle with anyone !
Old McDonald had a haggle.
E I E I O !!
-
I normally will too - they don't call me Mrs Ali Baba for fun.: :) It does get a bit embarrasing tho. when the market traders yell 'Hello, Mrs Ali Baba'. :-\: :) :o I keep telling Carl to go away if he wants something & leave it to me. He once paid £10+ for a belt - I nearly hit the ceiling, had there been one in the market!
He now tells me what he wants away from the stall & wears mirror glasses 8), his eyes are such a giveaway - he's such a soft touch - I despair of him sometimes.
I just can't understand why I'd never even thought of haggling at the DIY shop?
-
The prices at Park diy are good, so no good haggling on small items but if spending a few lira then as with anywhere here cash talks, after all the kdv man takes 18%, if you pay by card the bank will take another chunk, so savings can be made.
