Hello from Newcastle, my name is Gary and my wife is Denise.  We live in Newcastle upon Tyne.

We have been holidaying in Calis/Hiaronu area for the last twelve years and have finally taken the plunge and are now buying property in Calis.  Absolutely love the place!!

Our last holiday was in April this year when Denise decided that she wanted to celebtrate her 50th Birthday in Hisaronu.  This involved her organising flights and accomodation for 40 persons ranging from the agge of 2 years to 70 years!!  We had an absolute fabulous time - she partied for a week.  Some of the people that came with us were visiting this particular area of Turkey for the first time - needless to say they are now all converted to the Calis area!!.

We have seen a lot of change in Calis since we first holidayed there.  With regard to our new property purchase - Denise had a 10 year plan - i.e retiring there - I can see this length of term being drastically reduced once our apartment is complete which will be toward the end of this year.

Hi and welcome from a fellow North Easterner.  Originally from Felling and then Chester le Street, Sunderland supporter though, through and through.  Good luck with your venture, I'm sure that retirement will come sooner than you plan.

Wherebouts in Newcastle does your family live?  We live in the Westerhope area. Most of our family live quite close to us.
