Don't know if anyone can help - but I did say to Gill this is a question for the forum! :)
Gill and I are planning to get married in Fethiye in May next year - date - hotel - witnesses - documentation - dress (not mine!) all sorted.
We are over in September and want to meet with the Registrar to see what we need to do to book him and what arrangements we need to make.
Does anyone know where and how we make contact?

If you get nowhere, I know of someone who can help in Fethiye. PM me for info.

Mavisim - will do - thanks for the offer.
You may need to PM me so I can reply to you as there does not appear to be a contact e-mail address on your profile.

I didn't want to post here because it seems like an advert however, Nerettin at Nicholas Park Hotel - He arranged my wedding a few years back and I know he has all the contacts. He speaks perfect english and I am sure if you email him direct he will be happy to advise. Just google nicholas hotels but make sure you address it for Nerettin (owner).

Mavisim - many thanks for your help.
I will more than likely get in touch with him.

I am not suggesting you use his hotel for the wedding Ian. But I did and it was faultless. They did a great night for us and we left most of the design up to them. I am sure he will still give you the contact numbers either way. His brother I understand is Olu Deniz Mayor.

comgratulations Ian, its good to hear your news. Are you joining us in turkish class next term?

Janet - lovely to hear from you - hope you and family are all well?
I had some problems towards the end of last term (children / work related) and then whilst in Fethiye I got news that my father had passed away.
Not sure if I want to commit to another term - although it was fun and more importantly it might help me understand what I am saying "yes" to when the registrar commences the ceremony!
Speak to you soon
Ian :)
