If you put in a search - top LHS - 'Onur' you'll find this topic has been covered many, many times before.
We like because of legroom, food is nothing to write home about & there is no entertainment except on the very new planes. However they are cheap & we've never had a problem. Others have however & some don't give them a chance without even trying them. Do the search!

I'm one who is 'guilty' of not giving them a chance. My perrogative I think ;)

My daughter has just travelled with them.  Very little legroom (and she's only tiny at 5 ft) food terrible, but it got her there!

Hi Sharron,

I think it's safe to presume that Onur air's promise is to "get you there".  Anything over and above that is to be considered a bonus.
But, then again, they're nice'n'cheap  :)

Absolutely love them, very laid back, no little hitler's barking orders, like all passengers are under the age of 5.  Also they don't look at your kids like they are worms who should never be allowed on any form of transport, let alone an aeroplane.  Soft drinks free instead of 60p for a splash of coke in a can.  OK so foods not great, it's four hours x 2 out of your holiday, or journey, laugh, it makes it tastes better.  Leg room what leg room on any airline.  Fed up with them being knocked all the time, at least they fly all year round well mostly.  Had much worse journeys on other airlines.  Feel much better now that is my moan for the week.

We've flown with Onur lots of times from East Mids, can't fault them. Used to Fly with Thomas Cook but you have to be shoe horned into the seat (I'm quite tall but God help anyone over say 6Ft 3")especially if the person in front puts their seat back. We fly with Onur for the leg room firstly and secondly cost, OK the food isn't great so we take our own on board, what's the problem ?

we always use them now as the prices are the cheapest on the market to dalaman, by the way you do not get a meal( if thats what you would call it as it was c---) so you would not miss it and its only 4 hours but they will be doing snacks and free soft drinks

Have used them in the past and booked with them for June,2008(very good price via Aegean). No complaints, the aircraft were fairly new, clean, sufficient leg room for me(6 feet tall),the food was OK for me but not my wife. Any one remember Dan Air? Compared to them Onur Air are near perfect.

Flew with them last week on a Gold trail flight no delay there 40 mins delay on the way back. they were serving food on behalf of gold trail but from what I was told they are not serving food for Aegean got the seats next to the safety exit so lots of room. No entertainment but I always take an MP3 player so not bothered, using them again on 29th of August. :)

hi all
Wife and i used Onur Air two years ago, food - OK, space - OK, entertainment - NA, crews failure to demonstrate safety/emergency briefing - NIGHTMARE!
Wife will not fly with them again if it was free!
We do understand things have improved but now we can fly from our local airport without Onur it is not a problem.

Cheers C & D

We must admit having just returned from Dalaman this week and having flown out with T.C.with no leg room and squeezed like sardines, we much prefered 8) the return journey with Onar -  nice wide seats and plenty leg room.We were offered a meal but declined. Returning in 6 weeks with them and all of next years flight are booked at bargain prices - no complaints whatsoever and all flights from Glasgow 8).

As I live in Turkey I need to find reasonable priced flights for my trips back to family.Having used T. Cook and then Onur Air I much prefer Onur Air. There new planes are comfortable with plenty leg room. The price, well need I say more, it speaks for its self!!

We have used Onur Air a few times and no complaints, maybe the food but as stated you can bring your own snacks etc, would certainly fly again with them.

We have had to come back from our hols for family reasons, my wife booked 3 of us on a 1 week return DLM - LPL - DLM for £140 each with Onur Air 5 days before the flights, & she came home earlier with them for £110 single which was a standby ticket. I think their prices are quite reasonable for last minute August flights. More room on Onur than our original outbound flights with XL.

We have travelled with Onur on several occasions and have had no problems at all.  We came back from Turkey on Tuesday with Monarch airlines and were very disappointed.  There was no legrooom, and squeezed like sardines.  Give us Onur any day!!!
