hi everyone i need to prepare a folder for my apartment for visitors and i was wondering if anyone could give me any useful local phone numbers to put in it and any thing like doctors and chemist that sort of thing if anyone could help that would be great :D

They normaly have a list of these numbers in the Land of Lights. Failing that there are still plenty of free copies of the Living in Fethiye Guide which has all this info and a decent(ish) map.

I leave a stack of leaflets for hospital, chemist etc at the apartment for our guests in a serviette holder obtained from Ikea. Very useful.
Incidentally, had to use the private hosp in August. Brilliant. Tried the emergency one in Calis and was asked for £100 up front and told I could claim back from my insurance. This was without an examination. Cost at the hospital - 112YTL to include examination, injection and prescription which cost for 4 items 14 YTL. Bargain!! I'm better now :)!
