Hi,I'm looking for a bit of help :-\ I cannot stay in my apartment because the Electric has been disconnected! apparently the relevant paperwork has not been completed for my habitation certificate! I have only been able to stay there once, although this nightmare started 3 years ago....
They (the land owner & builder) will not sign over the Tapu... The Tapu is still in the (ex) Land Owners name, my legal bod has seen the Tapu himself... They have cost me thousands extra in trips over, Lawyers & not least Mortgage payments, trying to sort it....
I need to go over & stay, perhaps for several weeks, as we may need to instigate legal Proceedings against them. I am going potty just sitting here waiting & waiting.... As I am by myself I always have to pay 'single supplement': :) if in a hotel, pay the going rate for all food & refreshments.
The accommodation needs to be fairly central to Calis as I am now partly disabled (can't carry shopping etc) If anyone can help or has any suggestions, which would be a cheaper alternative, please get in touch.
Thanks in advance cef :)

I believe the Kilim Apartments are quite reasonable, they are just up the road from us. They haven't been that busy this season so you should be in agood position to negotiate.
Sorry, I don't have an email address, but their telephone is 612 4554

PMSL :D:D ;)
You never know... it may well be an offer I can't refuse :D ;)
Only problem with the Kilim is location, would be better for me, a bit closer to calis :)
Either way, looking forward to meeting you soon 8) ;)

It's only a few minutes by dolmus cef. There's a few other apart otels in central Calis but I don't have their details. It would be a far cheaper option than a hotel imho.

:) Thank you Tahir, sadly I can't access these links :(
I know it's only a few minutes by dolmus, but I feel quite vulnerable by myself & am more comfortable to be somewhere more populated. I'm happy to poodle about, people watch, look out to sea, read etc, just like to know I'm within shouting distance.... :)

I took the bits off past the "dot" as Scunner doesn't like outside freebie links posted on the forum.
For example input in explorer www.tenapartments .com and it will work

:)Cef, why dont you try the Er-Oz on the front, we have stayed there loads of times, there are lots of english staying there especially September, they charged our mate £10 per night B&B,clean towels and maid every day. and no extra for air con, Just thinking company wise with you being on your own, ;)

Hi Cef, I recently stayed at the Cenk Bey hotel. Very good location opposite the aqua park and although there is quite a busy road to cross the hotel is slap bang in the middle of it all and on the road for Fethiye and Dalaman. Mainly Turkish and German and British guests. The owners Cenk and his wife Andrea are so nice and Im sure they would make you more than welcome. The ground floor rooms are directly on the ground floor so there are no steps to negotiate. Their web addy is www.cenkbeyhotel. bla bla bla.... You will find contact numbers etc on the web page. Andrea and Cenk speak good English. Good Luck Margi xxx

Hi. I have friends coming out in September and they will be staying at the Ozyer apartments. Cost is 80 pounds per week, including breakfast and air-con. Pool available. I haven't stayed there myself but have heard good reports. Apparently they have a web-site. Good luck
-
Thanks Easyfood :) Where are the apartments situated please :) I am looking for somewhere that I can at least make as many cuppa's as I like (I'm a teapot!) otherwise it could cost me a tenner a day just in cuppa's :o:D I have a kettle 8):(

:) Cef, I will have a look for you and post later, I know the other members have definately got it, I will probably end up there myself, I was just thinking with you being on your own, there are a few people who go there on their own so you wont be stuck for a bit of company, the owners are lovely, plus the added bonus of having your breakfast on the seafront.( if you get up). ;)
-
:) Oops Sorry Maria, I put the previous post at the end of page 1, did'nt see yours. ;)
-
:) Ta laffa [:X] :) It's beginning to sound like I might almost... just enjoy myself as well :o:D ;)
I was in sales & marketing for years, so no problems chatting to new bods :) ;)

:) Thanks again Tahir :) it does look nice ;)
Laffa wonder whether we would get a better discount approaching them on masse ? don't mean living in yer pocket :-\ would be fun to be nearby 8) ;)
-
They dont exactly overcharge at the ER-Oz to start with do they Moe? We already put more than enough folk their way !
-
8) Cef, dont think you'll beat £10 per night B&B, considering single room occupancy, brekky, air con. tv, fridge, etc.plus the location. I could'nt possibly ask for a reduction on that.At least you know where you are and who you are with, and there's like minded folk staying there, But be quick they are busy in September. ;)
-
Thanks again Cavfan & Mo, really appreciate your help 8) ;)

Your'e right about the colour Maureen but if you are walking over the bridge FROM the beach it's behind you. If you are walking over the bridge TO the beach it's on the left.
