Title: airport rules regarding luggage
Post by: frenchie on August 20, 2007, 09:18:47 AM
hi, have been looking at the security regarding baggage and i am confused about sun tan creams etc that is allowed to take over. if i have read it correctly nothing must be above 100ml. i cannot buy the products i use in turkey because i have very sensitive skin, only certain places in england sell it. has any one else had this problem. thanks frenchie [?]:(

Hi frenchie, you'll have to put all creams lotions etc over 100ml, in your suitcase, if they are in your hand luggage they will nab them, they nabbed some of mine recently : :) ;)

I have one of those hard vanity cases whish I fill with creams and stuff that if it splits makes a mess in your suitcase. I lock it and check it in with the cases. No spills/leaks.

:)What about babies bottles. we have worked out that from leaving home the baby could need up to 4 feeds and they do not give hot water on the plane, surely they can't take the babies feeds off you.

You  are allowed milk for the baby But mum will have to be willing to taste it in front of them.

If you can prove that is what you need for the baby I can't see why not.
Probably will have to taste them all though.  Or they might choose one I don't know about that.

hi ladies, remember that your handbag must be part of your hand baggage and must be put inside as you are only allowed one bag not weighing more than 5kgs plus one bag/case no more than 20kgs depending on the airline you are travelling with per person, best way is to buy all those things like suntan etc on airside.
